Stir-fry crab

Serves 1-2

2½ tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 clove garlic - peeled and left whole

½ cup small button mushrooms

1 small onion or scallion - minced


250g cooked crab meat

1 tablespoon cornflour

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon wine


1 Heat 1½ tablespoons of oil in a wok. Add the salt and garlic and stir for 1 minute.

2 Discard the garlic and add the mushrooms, onion and chilli. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes and then remove from the wok.

3 Heat the remaining oil, add the crab meat and stir-fry for 1 minute.

4 Return the mushrooms and onion to the wok.

5 Blend the cornflour and water and add to the pan with the wine, stirring to mix through before serving.
